RADIOLOGY REPORT

HILLCREST

CLINICAL INFORMATION:

Carcinoma of the right lung.
TECHNIQUE:

Helical axial 8 mm  slices were obtained through the throax and upper abdomen both pre and post intravenous administration of  96  cc  Omnipaque  350.   A total of 131 images was obtained.

FINDINGS:

This study was compared to the prior examination of 5/31/00.

There has been no appreciable interval change in the overall cardiopulmonary status. The loculated right anterior pleural effusion is unchanged in size. Extensive pleural thickening is present surrounding the remaining aerated portion of the right lung. The lobulated pleural based mass in the upper lobe is unchanged in size. The calcifed mediastinal lymph nodes are also unchanged in size. The left lung is clear. No osteoblastic or osteolytic lesions are identified. Left subclavian infusion catheter is again seen, with the tip in the superior vena cava. A small pericardial effusion cannot totally be ruled out on today's examination. Biventricular enlargement is noted. Multiple stones are again seen in the gallbladder. No discrete hepatic or splenic masses are indentified on today's examination.

IMPRESSION:

1.   History of carcinoma of the right lung.

2.   No interval change sine the prior study of 5/31/00.
